Position Overview:
As a Groundskeeper / Landscaper, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the health, appearance, and safety of the club’s outdoor spaces—including lawns, gardens, walkways, and recreational areas. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in creating clean, beautiful landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mow lawns, trim hedges, and edge pathways
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Clean and clear walkways, patios, and public areas
- Perform seasonal tasks like leaf removal, snow shoveling, or salting
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers)
- Irrigation system upkeep and watering schedules
- Report maintenance issues or hazards to the Facilities Manager
- Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE
Requirements:
- Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
